This year T.M.Lewin celebrates 115 years on Jermyn Street with some exciting new developments happening at our flagship store in London.
On the 30th June, the transformation of T.M.Lewin, Jermyn Street begins, as our brand moves into an historic new era.
A brief history of T.M.Lewin (in case you didn’t already know about our long and prestigious history)…
It was back in 1898 that founder, Thomas Mayes Lewin first opened up shop selling his pioneering coat shirts (the first generation of shirts with buttons down the front like the ones we wear today).
T.M.Lewin has been a fixture on London’s famous street of shirt makers ever since and while fashions may have changed a bit since 1898, we still make our shirts with the same attention to detail and using many of the same traditional techniques devised over a century ago.
Loyal customers will be relieved to learn that we’re not planning to change the way we do things at T.M.Lewin but the Jermyn Street shopping experience is definitely about to change. We believe it’s going to be better than ever, thanks to updated and improved store layouts and new contemporary fixtures and fittings.
You can still expect the same quality and craftsmanship at your new-look T.M.Lewin, just a more modern, customer-friendly environment. A new generation of store for the next generation and the perfect setting to showcase our ever-evolving collections of smart, stylish business wear for men and women.
Both Jermyn Street womenswear and menswear stores will trade as usual while we work and rest assured, we’ll keep any disruption to a minimum. We’ll also keep you updated on our progress both here on the blog and via our Facebook page and Twitter.
Look out for special promotions and competitions too.
We look forward to welcoming you in store soon!
