TM Lewin Suits

Yesterday afternoon excitment was mounting in Manchester City Centre as we all prepared for the A-list celebrities and football legends to battle it out on the pitch in aid of UNICEF.

Crowds of screaming fans gathered outside The Lowry Hotel, each hoping to catch a glimpse of the star-studded 2014 Soccer Aid Squad.
As they emerged from their hotel, all ready to head to Old Trafford, T.M.Lewin were on hand to ensure they were showcasing their sartorial style in their individually tailored Match Suits.

The Rest of the World Team, which consisted of the likes of Gordon Ramsey, Michael Sheen and James Mcavoy, were suited up in our Navy Eddington Suit. While the England squad which included Robbie Williams, John Bishop and Paddy McGuinness, were kitted out in our Grey Fleming Suit.

Following their initial suit fitting last week our team of tailors have worked tirelessly to ensure that each of the celebrities suits fitted like a glove. Our tailors even accommodated some special sartorial requests from the likes of Olly Murs who was keen to uphold his own sense of style with turn ups on his trousers.

We provided each of the celebrities with essential finishing flourishes to top off their outfits. The Eddington was finished off with the navy Soccer Aid Charity slim tie and navy white silk pocket square.
The Fleming Suit was accessorised with the limited edition burgundy Soccer Aid Charity slim tie and burgundy white pocket square.

The players received an almighty reception as they entered the stadium yesterday evening packed with thousands of fans and watched by millions around the world, all eagerly awaiting kick off.

After an exciting match and show stopping performances from Nicky Bryne and Jamie Redknapp the Rest of the World team were made the overall winners at 4 goals to 2.
