7 Stocking Fillers for the Stylish Gent

Stocking Fillers

The traditional stocking can be one of the most exciting parts of Christmas Day. Waking up and looking down to see if old St. Nick has been can bring that instant Christmas feeling. Even though we aren’t kids anymore, stockings can still be a great way to start the day. We had a look at some of the best options available for a gentlemen’s stocking.

Retro Gent’s ‘Buff And Shine’ Shoe Polish Kit    £22.00

There’s nothing that ruins men’s suits more than a scuffed pair of shoes. The Buff and Shine shoe polish kit is the perfect addition to any man of taste’s style kit. It’s got the standard soft and hard brushes, black and neutral polishes and a cleaning cloth that all comes in a pretty handy felt and faux leather carry case. Remember, if he wants to look good then his shoes have to look good.

Union Jack Cufflinks    £19.50

You might have guessed that we like all things British here at TM Lewin so it shouldn’t really come as a surprise that we love these subtle Union Jack cufflinks. Cufflinks are great accessories for adding a bit of personality into his otherwise formal look. They’re not too noticeable but when they are seen, people just can’t keep their eyes off them. Our cufflinks even have the seal of approval from Woman & Home magazine!

The Marvellous Beard and Moustache Box     £80.00

Movember has just passed, but we’ve noticed that quite a few of those newly moustachioed men have decided against shaving and are keeping their mos. So for those new to the world of facial hair (and even those that have been here a long time) the marvellous beard and moustache box is the perfect gift. It’s got beard moisturiser, wax for your mo, a beard brush, a tash comb, flannel, scissors and an expert’s guide to having a tip top beard and moustache. If he’s planning on keeping that mo then this is a must have gift.

Burgundy Paisley Pocket Square     £19.50

Yes, it’s paisley, and it’s burgundy, and yes, we love it. Pocket Squares are definitely less subtle than cufflinks, but they add so much of a man’s personal sense of style to suits that may be a bit lacking in colour. One rule we will remind you of though, is never to buy a matching tie. Pocket squares and ties should never ever match. We have warned you about this before.

4 Hook Wooden Belt spinner         £9.95

Ok, so this isn’t the type of gift that’s going to win him any style points, but there’s a lot to be said for having a well-organized wardrobe. This handy belt spinner will save him from pulling everything out of his sock drawer every time he needs to find his brown belt.

Burgundy Soccer Aid Charity Slim Tie     £25.00

Slim ties are very much in this year as is burgundy, but that’s not the only reason to buy him this stylish tie. £10 of the sale price goes directly to the soccer aid charity. We were lucky enough to be involved in this year’s event as we dressed Robbie Williams et al. in their tailored suits for the big day. Get him this tie, and he’ll be in good company.

Damn Handsome Shave Kit       £45.00

We had something a little earlier for the bearded and moustachioed chaps so we thought we’d better include something for the clean shaven brigade. This Damn Handsome kit includes everything he’ll need to get the perfect shave. It contains 100% natural lemon and thyme shave cream, natural white boar bristle brush and post shave balm all in a nifty looking black bag.

So there you are, a little something for everyone or a little of everything for someone. Fill his stocking with these great gifts, and he’ll be happy but more importantly, he’ll look good.
